Thanks
for trusting us with your charter dollar! At this point be sure we
have confirmed the date of your charter with you by phone or e-mail.
Confirmation means that we have you on our calendar, we have your credit card number on file as a deposit, we have your phone number that you can be reached while in Florida and at home, the number of passengers. That
done, relax your charter is confirmed! Please make a note to contact us the
evening before your trip between 6:00pm and 8:00 pm to check weather and directions.
Please, If you have not already done so, make sure we have your local phone number, cell, or e-mail in case I need to contact
you before or after you leave home. I will not call unless
it is necessary. We recommend you print this page as well as the
map page to use while here in Florida.
There
is room for beginners or experts aboard my boat. We use spin plug
or fly equipment. If you prefer anything special, or if you are bringing
any of your own gear, be sure to let me know. I encourage catch and
release fishing. Click here on our Seasons Calandar to see what you may catch on your trip with us.
Be
sure you have sunscreen (spf 30+), Polaroid sunglasses, enough clothes
to cover up from the sun, and warm enough jacket in winter to stay
comfortable. A wide brimmed hat, shoes that will not make black marks on our decks (no black soles please). Boating style deck shoes, Crocks,
or beach shoes are perfect. A rain jacket can serve well
as a wind breaker as well as keep you warm and dry. Most times light
clothes dressed in layers are recommended. At Christmas through January
it may be in the forty's for the first part of the day. To be warm is fun, to be cold is not! The Coast
Guard requires kids five and under to wear a life jacket at all times.
Please....Do NOT bring bananas, banana sunscreen, this is not a joke.
Do NOT bring any illegal drugs. This will terminate the trip immediately.
Client will pay full charter fee.
Your
charter includes fishing license, bait, tackle, fish cleaning services
and bagging your fish for you. Local tradition requires that you bring
anything you wish to eat or drink. We provide a cooler with ice for
your use. Many of our clients prefer to pre-pack lunch and bring their
own cooler, this is fine. The soft sided coolers are perfect for this
as well as the white foam coolers available at local convenience stores.
Feel free to bring what ever you have. There are 7-11 stores open
twenty four hours a day which is on your way to the boat if you wish
to pick up lunch, snacks, and beverages. In summer season, bring plenty
of fluids. Your charter can include up to four passengers maximum.
Departure
time will be at 7:00 am from the Lovers Key boat facility.
Please call me the evening before your charter
(between 5:00 and 8:00 PM) to confirm the trip is on. We will discuss
weather, directions and answer any questions. This confirmation call
is necessary or I will not be at the dock to meet you. If all else
fails, you can leave a voice message at my house, 239-455-0006.

for a place to stay? Thankfully we have lots of great places. Here
are some links to help your search. I recommend Lover's
Key Resort as my wife and I like it there. Its also the closest
place to the boat. The Outrigger Resort is also recommended by many of our clients and is also close
to the boat. Other places on Ft. Myers Beach are HERE. Our clients liked these as well: Pink
Shell , Diamond Head,
